Lou Tides is the solo project of Teeny Lieberson, formerly of TEEN and Here We Go Magic. Lou makes experimental synth-driven songs that are moody and raw. Performing with drummer Sarah Galdes and choreographer Lena Englestein, the live performance has a wild energy and has been described as “witchy”. With a love for theatrics and a good costume, the project also draws inspiration from artists that are playful, whimsical and funny such as Jim Henson and Laurie Anderson. This is apparent in their video collaborations with director Suz Murray, which are weird little worlds. Lou released her debut EP and visual mixtape, Infinite Loop, in January 2023. 

Lou has shared the stage with L'Rain, River Ramirez, Of Montreal, and is currently a touring member of Sharon Van Etten’s band. Their newest LP, co-produced by Bartees Strange, is coming soon.
